Sport fishing expert Joe Neber began building Contender boats more than 35 years ago. These semi-custom vessels are designed so that each customer gets the performance and comfort they expect. These world-renowned centre console boats are known for their wave parting 24.5-degree deadrise bottom design bringing the soft riding hull we have all come to know and love.
American Contender 25′
The first-ever Contender boat was the Classic 25 and for the past four decades, each new design has delivered the same smooth, dry ride and functional layout. These are the ideal sportfishing boats, with an uncluttered design and plenty of room for gear and storage.
The hull and deck are made of hand-laid fibreglass with unmatched durability. If you are lucky enough to be able to order direct from the factory Contender can kit out this custom-built boat according to your desires. You can order electric reel outlets, outriggers, rod holders and your preferred electronics.
In 2022, Contender has two new 25′ boats on the market. The new Contender 25 Tournament has two outboard engines with a maximum engine power of 400 HP. Meanwhile, the 25 Bay has one outboard motor with a maximum of 400 HP.
