The wahoo and sailfish season is just right around the corner but our anglers struck gold with some big yellowfin and big eye tuna this past week. Here’s the Ocean Blue weekly fishing report.

First off the blocks, this 76kg bigeye tuna, caught using live bait by our guests fishing with guide Kevin Puyo Festa. The wahoo are also starting to appear on time. These speedsters are great fun, especially targeting them on topwater.

Sailfish have also started to make an appearance with guide Andrea Traverso landing this nice 40kg sailfish. That is one majestic fish right there.A three-day yellowfin streak saw guest Mark landing a 40kg yellowfin on jig with guide Andrea Traverso. Mark got lucky again as he managed yet another Yellowfin (60kg this time) casting a stick bait.
